i am not one of those people who are endowed with talents of giving thank-yous profusely, nor am i blessed with genius of expressing myself properly, least am i good at making compliments, therefore when asked to write libbie a letter as my weekly essay for last week, i went only as far as an vague allusion, and nothing more. but here, as Libbie neither knows of my MSN nor cares about Baiduing her name, i may as well let my emotion take over reason, and let the flow of words that is coursing against my veins govern my fingers, without scruple whatsoever.

it is impossible not to fall for libbie's erudition as long as one has sit through of her P&P class. elegant proses and Austin-ish wits -- very british, very upper-class-- there is no doubt for that matter. but what is even more impressive is libbie's chinese, especially evidenced in her exceptionally extraordinarily talent in finding english expression Shanghai-nese equivalent, and she often does so with our unanimous "HA"!
